A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat." " Is the man of the house home?", they asked. "No", she replied. "He's out." "Then we cannot come in", they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened. "Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in" " We do not go into a House together," they replied. "Why is that?" she asked. One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home."
The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was overjoyed. "How n ice!!", he said. "Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!" His wife disagreed. "My dear, why don't we invite Success?" Their daughter was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: "Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love!" "Let us heed our daughter's advice," said the husband to his wife. "Go out and invite Love to be our guest ."
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, "Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest." Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, t he lady asked Wealth and Success: "I only invited Love, Why are you coming in?" The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success !!!!!!"

A Story of a King and his Four Wives

4 WIVESOnce upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives.He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighbouring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her!

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone."Thus, he asked the 4th wife , "I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will! You follow me and keep me company?""No way!", replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word.Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?""No!", replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!"His heart sank and turned cold.He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?""I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!", replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave." Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.Then a voice called out: "I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go."The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was very skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"

In truth, we all have the 4 wives in our lives:Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others.Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.And our 1st wife is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us to the throne of God and continue with us throughout Eternity.

THE HOLY BIBLE

The HOLY BIBLE- is a book of history and mystery. As the name depicts ... it is holy for the Christian world. It contains in depth knowledge and wisdom... which no man could cover the whole stuff within his life period. Starting from Genesis to Revelation it depicts the past, the present and the future. Archaeologists had found out many structures and artifacts that was mentioned in the Bible. The Bible also stays true when we closely study the Bible and the world history.

There are many contributors to The Bible. Most of the writers in ancient past used animal skins to write and later they were explored and revealed. We can also see that one book written by one writer is very much related to the next book written by some other writer. This interrelation is very much peculiar when one reads from start to the end. But it requires a lot time to read the whole Bible. (i had read it 2 times and started for the third)

Reading the Bible is not the matter. Studying the Bible is what actually matters. This is because it contains lot of insights and lessons which is directly related to the life of a person. To understand these inner meanings, one should pray to God to reveal those mysteries and talk to him. Jesus uses Bible as a strong medium to communicate to his disciples. There is a story in the Bible in which Jesus takes a fasting for 40 days. At the 40th day Satan came to him and asks him tricky questions so as to trap the son of God. Whatever Jesus had told to Satan was quoted from the Bible. In our day today life if we use the way what Jesus Christ has adopted, we will see the miracle of God.

What would a person gets if he/she reads the Bible regularly?

In Psalms 1:2 (the quality of a person who is blessed by God is given)

"But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night."

In Joshua 1:8

" Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. "

A person who just reads it will be blessed by the God. So don't forget to read the Bible today itself.
